The
mission of the FEATURE PRESENTATION design team
is the ongoing development to improve dedicated
theater interiors. In doing so we gathered together
one afternoon to pose several questions as to what
we ourselves wanted in a theater that we would put
in our homes.
We also asked what we had thought it would be worth,
versus what we would pay to have it. As all of us
here at FEATURE PRESENTATION cogitated on all these
things we arrived at several conclusions. The following
observations are what we came up with:
Its architectural style must display an unpretentious
elegance, but maintain a luxurious simplicity. To
accomplish this , we chose to surround the theater
with hardwood soffits supported by a colonnade of
matching hardwood pilasters, offered in variety
of styles ad wood stains.
And without reservation, the seating choices must
offer a curative depth of comfort that will draw
a days stress right on out of you. The seating must
come in an array of fabrics and leathers in lots
of styles and colors. And above all, our seats will
be of the highest quality, with the wonderful feel
of soft leather. This sense of comfort should be
augmented by the relaxing ambience created by the
warm glow of down-spot accent lights and Italian
column sconces bathing its sanguine light throughout,
accentuating the color and textures.
Last, but not least every element must come together
in concert to the end, as each acoustic panel, hardwood
column, seat-riser and the rest: all are strategically
arranged to help produce a superior authentic theater
sound. |
